Access note Not recorded Full text 6,614 characters Original text, English · 6,614 characters in 1 part Load the full text Download as .txt Outline (20 headings) 1 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 2 AN ACT TO ESTABLISH THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION TASK 3 FORCE AND TO REQUIRE AGE-APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION ON ARTIFICIAL 7 ESTABLISH THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN EDUCATION TASK FORCE 8 SECTION 1.(a) Establishment. – There is established the Artificial Intelligence in 11 SECTION 1.(b) Voting Members. – The AIE Task Force shall consist of the 14 Tempore of the Senate, and one member of the North Carolina House of 15 Representatives, appointed by the Speaker of the House, to serve as cochairs 26 University of North Carolina Board of Governors, and the Secretary of the Department of 1 SECTION 1.(d) Rules. – The Task Force shall adopt rules and regulations governing 6 SECTION 1.(e) Purpose. – The Task Force shall be responsible for balancing 10 Carolina General Statutes involving the regulation of AI technologies in 20 SECTION 1.(f) Administrative Support. – All clerical and other services required 24 SECTION 1.(g) Term. – The Task Force shall commence within 15 days of the 28 SECTION 1.(h) The Task Force shall report its findings and recommendations to 31 REQUIRE AGE-APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE 32 SECTION 2.(a) Part 1 of Article 8 of Chapter 115C of the General Statutes is 1 SECTION 2.(b) There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of 5 EFFECTIVE DATE 6 SECTION 3.
